The custom underwater pin load cell is purpose-built for demanding subsea and offshore applications where accurate, long-term force measurement is essential. Engineered from marine-grade stainless steel and featuring a hermetically sealed construction, it offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and water ingress, ensuring reliable operation in harsh marine conditions. A fully integrated subsea connector enables secure and stable signal transmission, even at extreme depths. While the standard configuration operates effectively down to 1000 meters, bespoke designs with enhanced sealing technology can endure pressures equivalent to 4000 meters of water depth. This adaptability makes it an ideal solution for deep-sea exploration, heavy-duty offshore lifting operations, mooring load monitoring, and integration into ROV-mounted tooling systems. The robust build and precision engineering ensure that performance remains stable over years of operation, even in continuously submerged environments.
Each bespoke submersible load pin is designed and manufactured to match the customer’s specific dimensional, mechanical, and functional requirements. Capacities of up to 200 tonnes can be accommodated, and users can select from a variety of electrical output options—including mV/V, 0–5V, 0–10V, 4–20mA, and RS485—for seamless integration into new or existing monitoring and control systems. The load cell is designed to operate reliably in a wide thermal range from –40°C to +150°C, making it suitable for both polar seas and high-temperature subsea zones.
