A load cell (or loadcell) is a transducer which converts force into a measurable electrical output. Strain gauge based load cells are the most commonly used type and suitable for almost all industrial applications. Strain gauge load sensors contain wheatstone bridge within them to deliver mV output signal which is proportional to the applied load/force under constant power supply, thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the transducer.

Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
The rated output of weight transducer FH8C is around 3mV/V.
The power supply is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output signal range of loadcell FH8C is normally within 0...+45mV.
Example one: Single Ended Load Cell FH8C-2t with 3.0mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC, the output range is 0...+30mV.

Example two: Shear Beam Load Cell FH8C-5t with 3.0mV/V rated output powered by 5V DC, the output range is 0...+15mV.
